I hope everyone had a great Independence Day because we had a lot of fun. We hung out with friends, ate steak and potatoes, went swimming, ate some cake and apple crisp, saw a few fireworks, swam again in the dark, went to bed really late, it was nice and relaxing for the most part, all but the part where we walked to the fireworks location in the near dark pretty far and since it was darn hot we were sweating like pigs because the temperature even at 8:30 was still over 95. Ah well Las Vegas living. Here are a few pictures from our night.
Summer was so tired when the fireworks started, she almost fell asleep. She wasn't really interested in the fireworks either. Luckily the loud noises didn't bother her at all. The only thing that kept her awake was the promise of more swimming, swimming late in the night around 10:00 pm. The Springston's turned up the heat in the pool so the water was nice and warm when we got back. It was a fun night, we got home after 11:00 pm and slept like babies.
